Srinagar, Dec 02 (KNO): The government has ordered a reshuffle in the Finance Department, transferring several senior accounts and audit officers in Kashmir. Among the important changes, Arshid Ahmad Lone, Chief Accounts Officer (CAO) at Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), has been posted as Chief Pay & Accounts Officer, Chief Engineer, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Ltd (KPDCL). As per the details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the transfer has been made through a Government Order issued by the Finance Department, with Arshid Ahmad Lone, who was also holding additional charge as CAO, Srinagar Development Authority, now relieved of both roles and set to take up his new assignment at KPDCL vice Mr. Altaf Hussain Hajam. Officials said the posting places Arshid Ahmad Lone in a key financial oversight position within Kashmir’s power distribution sector—(KNO)
